How do we recruit?

Apart from simply acquiring skills, the person whom you appoint should fit in with your company culture and excel at what they do. For that reason we believe in following a professional process:

• Proper needs assessment
• Tapping into the right resources (printed press, on-line recruitment, trusted database, specialist search methods) to find suitable candidates
• Thorough candidate assessment (smart info gathering, interview, psychological personality profiling, credential checking)
• Negotiate the appointment process in conjunction with our client

For permanent staff our Placement Fee is equivalent to a percentage of the placed candidate's annual income (cost to company income; annual salary, 13th cheque, allowances and fringe benefits), being due within 14 days of receipt of invoice.

For staff appointed by your company on a limited duration contract a monthly referral fee charged. Our fee is calculated as a percentage of the candidate's monthly income package. Your company remunerates the employee.

If your company, after briefing us, cancels or alters the nature of the assignment, a nominal charge for administration costs will be incurred.

Should an employment decision be deferred, and your company or an associate appoint the referred candidate within 12 months of referral, the standard fee and guarantee will apply.

Perm Guarantee

Provided that our fee is paid within 14 days of receipt of invoice, clients benefit from our 90 day Guarantee Period. Should your new staff member leave your employ for any reason other than redundancy or job misrepresentation during the guarantee period, you are entitled to a replacement at no extra charge and a new guarantee period will commence. However, if you decline replacing the candidate through West Coast Personnel, we shall credit you for the full fee paid, to be set off against any future placement.

West Coast Personnel provides capable temporary staff for assignments lasting from as little as one day to long-term contracts.
After client acceptance Temps are employed and fully administered by West Coast Personnel, and sent on assignments at affordable fully inclusive pre-negotiated hourly rates.

Billing Process: Time sheets are completed by Temporary Staff, authorized by the Client, and processed weekly by West Coast Personnel. Clients are billed weekly with payment due within 7 days of invoice date.

Temp Guarantee
Each temporary staff member is assigned with a ten hour guarantee. Should the Client find a West Coast Personnel temporary staff member unsatisfactory for any fair reason, the Client may notify West Coast Personnel within ten hours of commencement of the assignment and request that the assignment be terminated. In the event no charge will be made for the hours worked. West Coast Personnel shall endeavor to replace the assignee within 24 hours, or such other reasonable time as agreed upon.
